Torrance Hospital Independent Physician Association (THIPA) is a physician network that has been serving the South Bay exclusively for over 29 years.  THIPA prides itself on delivering personalized care through a network of over 400 primary care and specialist physicians as well as through its local Member Services team. 

As an example of THIPA’s continuous improvement efforts, the physician network looks to its own members for ways to improve services.  Through Advisory Boards, Focus Groups, newsletters and educational meetings, THIPA reaches out to its members monthly in an effort to find ways to better serve them. 

The California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) honored the Senior Advisory Board program as, “One of the most effective and sensible approaches to patient-centered care in California…”
